Unexpected kindness from the owner
The owner was incredibly welcoming, personally greeting me upon my arrival. The room was spacious and well-equipped for my needs, providing a comfortable stay. A nearby Denny's was a great convenience.
Unfortunately, the bathroom could use some rigorous cleaning, as it showed signs of mildew. The breakfast offering was quite disappointing, consisting only of stale coffee and packaged donuts.

10/10
Like, my king size bed was, like, so huge and comfy! I totally knocked out, y'know? The owner was super nice too, like he opened the door for me when I got there, how cute is that? Denny's right across the street was a lifesaver after a long drive. This place is a solid find!

I had a lovely stay at Economy Inn Barstow. The front desk staff were extremely helpful and provided me with valuable information about local attractions. The nearby restaurant, Jenny's, offered fantastic food delivered right to my room, making my evenings delightful.
Limited dining options.

missingWrote a review on Nov 14friendly staffunprofessional managementnoisy environment
The staff were friendly and accommodating during my stay.
The management seemed unprofessional and rude, which made me feel uncomfortable. When I extended my stay, the manager abruptly demanded cash for my dog, despite the pet-friendly policy. Additionally, I was placed in a room directly above noisy children, which disrupted my rest, and when I expressed concerns about it, the response was dismissive.

absolutely unacceptible! the microwave was moved to the wash basin and never cooled down properly. And, the office door was locked most of the time, how am I supposed to ask for something? i nearly gave a good review, but the lack of consideration for my comfort woudl ve been too much to overlook.

I loved that the room was spacious and comfortable for my family and our dog. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Nearby, we visited the Rainbow Basin Natural Area, which had some beautiful scenery and a nice playground for the kids to enjoy.
My kids wished there were more breakfast options available.

Surprisingly clean room with a comfortable king bed and a nearby Jennys for delicious food delivery! However, the AC struggled to keep the room cool during our stay. I'd consider returning for a night!
